Yesterdays appointment was uneventful. Doesnt help that the doctor guy didnt laugh at my jokes or seem very personable. I didnt care to carry a conversation with him to ask questions but when I go back in 3 weeks for my appointment and ultrasound (!!) I will bring my list. although I really only have 2 questions. And neither of them has to do with anything soon.
Baby had a great heartbeat! It was strong and did not skip any beats at all. Baby kept moving so he had to follow it with the dopler.
Baby is a mover and shaker but I dont feel most of it yet. The other night though, baby was doing flips of some sort and then ended then with a few swift kicks. I dont feel baby often yet but once in a while I know its there.
I also must admit that this heartburn sucks. At night when I try and get comfy in bed, BAM. Heartburn. Urg. My chips and salsa craving doesnt help but I dont eat that often. I am sleeping so good and i wake up very rested. But I do get up 2-4 times a night to pee. Which I will gladly get up to pee cause if not, it feels very crampy in the morning and thats painful.
I dont have any belly pics to show off because I still dont really have one. I just look a bit chubby. I have gained 9lbs but I dont know how accurate that is. Their scale said 2lbs more than mine but I fluctuate a good 3lbs here and there. The waffles and pancakes for breakfast every morning contribute to that.
