Emelia has ear tuvbes due to fluid build up in her ears. It is very common in cleft kids and they tend to need multiple sets. She had her first set placed at palate repair when she was 9 months old. They tend to fall out on their own but emelias did not. One was touching her ear drum and the other was just hanging around not functioning. We had to be in boston, 2 hours away, at 6am.
