Sick man

Mr man had a fever the other day that brought us into the dr. He was up to 102/103. Good ol tylenol brought it down and weve been riding out a cold ever since. The fever left a day after it came but the stuffy nose and cough stuck around for a few days. Yesterday was a no nap day despite a whiny child who just wanted to cry all day. I think the crying gave him a headache and that proceeded to make him cry more. He was crying for anything that happened that day and I could not put him down. He would sleep in small increments (the largest being 8 mins which allowed me to fold clothes, switch over laundry and throw in a new load, pee, make a peanut butter and fluff sandwich and sit down for 1 bite) before he woke up from not being able to breath. No napping led to a very hard bedtime. He kept falling asleep and was falling asleep sitting up, but then he would wake to breathing issues and cry and work himself up. Tylenol and teething tablets (his hands were in his mouth all day too), along with saline spray were given at around 8:30. By 10, he was still unsettled and crying on and off while laying in bed with Matt. I went to bed at 10 and lathered him up with vicks and we had the humidifier going. He insisted on sleeping on his belly which meant lifting his head to cough every 5 mins. We eventually fell asleep around 11 and he woke to eat like normal and fell back asleep like normal.
The issue was, we had swimming today. to go or not to go? He woke up smiling and happy and wasnt whining at all. No fever and he could breath. So, we brought our own toy to swimming so we didnt get germs on any other toys. The pool did him some good. He was happy and giggly. That took a lot out of him because he has been sleeping for 2 hours now (woke to eat but went back down). Im glad we went because it allowed him to take this good nap that he really really needed.
Hopefully he gets better soon because I hate being cooped up in the house with a sick little man. But since I had no credit card due to someone in Texas using it, we were able to having some bonding time with walks. Even though he was sick, he seemed to love going our for our walks and likes to laugh at Simon :)
