I knew the crib would not be easy when my belly is bigger and if I end up with another c-section (highly likely) so the toddler bed transition had to happen sometimes this spring. But I want the paci gone (seriously, its time), and i thought it would be easier to do the bed first and then the paci. Paci needs to be gone soon too because how do I take it away if the baby has one? So toddler bed came first. Night one was awesome. Nap the next day, sucked majorly. Bed was okay. Nap sucked. Bed was... okay. Mondays nap sucked. Tuesdays nap sucked but I was done. I just kept throwing him back in bed. Wednesday was easy as heck and its been awesome ever since. When he wakes up in the morning, he just talks to himself in bed until we get him. If he gets fed up with is not getting him (because hes being cute talking to himself and we just listen), he starts slamming his closet doors instead of opening his actual door. its amusing and silly. Its been over a month and he is just fine in there. Paci is soon. Wish us luck.

Robert guessed Girl
So I guess its time to go crazy buying girl stuff! According to the ER doc it could be twins and I need to fallow up with my ob. Uh... We transferred one embryo and saw one heartbeat. The slight rise in hcg pared with my non existent belly leads me to not believe the twin theory. But all in all, this child is giving me a run for the money already. At least with all these meds and the ER trip, I dont need maternity clothes this time. Of course I have bought a few things already but im also not wearing a uniform (besides sweatpants) 5 days a week so i need a few more things in rotation.
Saturday was like any other day. Relaxed with a friend, dinner with some girl cousins, and a Jack and Jill. Logan was sleeping over grandmas for the night which meant we had a good night of sleep ahead of us. Except at about 10pm I was in sooo much pain. I think I slept from 3am-5am, and maybe a bit around 7. It sucked. I contemplated an ER trip but let matt sleep. I felt a bit better in the morning. I eventually had matt run out and get me some Zantac because I was assuming is was Acid reflux. I had no pain anywhere else indicating anything else. That helped a bit. Went to bed at 9 and at 10 I was in so much pain still. Screw it. I went to the ER. Matt stayed home with Logan, and slept. My mom came with me. I was immediately brought into a room because they were very empty for a sunday evening. They also determined that it was a severe acid build up. I was given an acid neutralizer, 2 bags of fluid and 3 shots of zofran because I was still puking up nothing. I puked up the tylenol they gave me but kept down the Maalox. Fun night. I now have a script for Pepcid ac.
Matt went to the dentist and got himself a script for his sinuses and Simon has a script for his ear infection. Thank goodness Logan has been fine ::knock on wood::
So if baby 2 is a girl, you will be hard pressed to convince me of a baby 3.

January Pictures
Dads shirt is a bit big

Rocking Logan to sleep at Tori's house
I dont want to get dressed!
walking my doggy
visiting the boys at bowling
sitting like a big boy
double dipping
Logan loves any type of dipping sauce. Blue cheese, ranch, bbq, sweet and sour, ketchup, queso salsa, and so on. Problem is, he doesnt actually eat the dipped piece of food (fry, chips, chicken...). He just dips and sucks it off, dips and sucks it off again. The food is just a spoon for dipping in. Messy messy.
happy half birthday! 18m Logan
Logans 18m. stats
Mastered skills most kids can do-
Will "read" board books on his own: He opens them and looks through them now. He usually hold them correctly and turns the pages correctly too.
Scribbles well: He scribbles on his magnadoodle and with his stray milk sippy cups. But give him a crayon and paper and he runs away with the crayon.
Emerging skills half the kids can do-
Strings two words together in phrases: He says "Iwon dat" (I want that) "bye bye Dadee" "Hi key" (kitty) "Hi gog" (dog) "no mine"
Brushes teeth with help: He does once in a while. He uses his tooth brush and makes little motions.
stacks four blocks: he can stack blooks till they fall or get to tall for him. More than four thats for sure.
Advanced skills a few kids can do-
Throws a ball overhand: yes
Takes toys apart and puts them back together: sometimes he does.
Shows signs of toilet training readiness: gosh no

Baby Bard 2!
The process for Baby Bard 2 was quick and easy compared to our journey to making Logan. We did the IVF/ICSI to achieve our embryos. Our fresh cycle resulted in an ovarian ectopic. Logan was a FET, frozen embryo transfer. Baby Bard 2 was also a FET.
We had 2 frozen embryos in storage. My OB wanted me to have 2 years between births for healing (especially because of the c-sec) and so we were not approved to start the process for bb2 until Logan was 16 months old. I brought Logan to our consultation and they loved him (duh!). It was to be quick and easy. I did my bloodwork right then and was ready to go for my next cycle. I started my estrogen and progesterone. Went on November 30 for my transfer of one embryo. Went in for bloodwork on December 10th and was told my hcg number was a good number! The next day. Matt and I went to the mall to do some xmas shopping and get the "Big Bro" shirt I saw a few days earlier (but did not want to get yet). 3 days later, a thursday, I went for a second blood draw and my numbers tripled very very well. So, all was good! We had a lot going on with family and decided that we may as well tell people before the figure it out on their own. We went to the in laws, with Logans new shirt. They noticed of course! And my father gave Logan an oreo and therefor dirtying out new shirt. Next stop was my moms! She noticed too :)
Logan has no idea. "Are you going to be a big brother?" "YEAH!"
"Are you going to have a brother or a sister?" "YEAH!"
"Are you going to be abducted by aliens?" "YEAH!"
This is Baby Bard 2 at 6weeks6days. Heart beat was good.
This is a picture of the embryo after they put it in.
